At Fun Little Foodies, our main goal is to get kids involved and interested in food and cooking.  We focus on having fun, getting stuck in, tasting new food and flavours and exploring where our food comes from. Our recipes are nutritious and show the importance and simplicity of using fresh ingredients wherever possible. A balanced diet is always emphasised and therefore some recipes do also cater for the sweet lovers amongst our children!

Children are encouraged to be as independent as possible and practice their listening and following instructions skills.  However, due to the age of our children in our preschool classes, parent/carer participation is expected when needed.

We run weekly preschool classes in Monkseaton as well as an afterschool class for older children.  We also do pop up sessions in a variety of locations around the North East of England – see our events section for more details.

We are available to run cookery sessions in schools and nurseries and for birthday parties.

A lovely gem of a class with welcoming, down to earth teachers. I think just a few sessions would introduce children to loads of new words, food preparation skills and new tastes. My little chef tasted basil and then cherry tomatoes today and she HATES tomatoes so this class could be the start of a really fun journey of learning to try new foods. Highly recommended by us!

Tasted Tomatoes!

Fantastic class for little ones! My 3.5 year old loves it; they make different recipes each week, and Katie and Kirsten are fantastic! Jensen is a lot more confident now and loves the routines of the class. He also has tried lots of new foods in the tastings which is great. We’re going to sign up to another 6 week block. A very unique class which is well worth trying!
